Nestled in the serene Eichsfeld countryside, this charming 3-star hotel offers a touch of Thuringian hospitality with its regional cuisine and welcoming atmosphere. Every room was equipped with modern amenities, ensuring a comfortable stay. The daily English breakfast was a delightful start to the day, setting the tone for the outdoor adventures that awaited in the surrounding nature parks.Although I missed out on dinner at the restaurant, the minibar in the room offered a selection of treats at reasonable prices. The free WiFi throughout the property and flat-screen TVs with DVD players kept us entertained after a day of hiking and cycling. The free onsite parking and close proximity to the A38 motorway made exploring the area convenient.I particularly enjoyed the shared lounge where we could unwind and plan our next day's activities. The hotel's bowling alley and ski storage were a pleasant surprise, offering additional entertainment options for families.Landhotel Berggaststätte Bickenriede exceeded my expectations with its warm hospitality and Bavarian charm.
